1. Watch the sunset from Observatory Hill
Nestled in the city center, Observatory Hill gives panoramic views of the harbor and the bridge. The observatory was built in 1857 and is a well-known landmark. Get there early to grab a spot on the grass and watch the sun go down.

2. Coastal Walk from Bondi to Bronte
Read about it in my previous post here.
3. Explore Surry Hill
Surry Hills was once a gritty, shady suburb of Sydney notorious for crime, has now become a hip and artsy district. Walk down Crown and Bourke Street and browse through boutiques, vintage shops, cafes and art galleries. With the dog walkers and old Victorian Style houses it’s a great place to grab a coffee and meander down the streets people watching.
4. Find your way to Wendy’s Secret Garden
Wendy’s Secret Garden is on the other side of the Harbor bridge, out of the hustle and bustle of the city and away from most tourists. It’s a tranquil public space with a great view. You can take the train across the bridge to the North Station. Follow the signs to the Royal Art Society of NSW and continue to walk down Walker Street. Take the stairs down past Lavendra Restaurant and you will find the garden.

5. Take the ferry to Manly Beach
Manly is just a quick 20 minute ferry from Sydney Harbor. You can spend an afternoon there or a couple of days. Walk down The Corso and browse through souvenir shops and boutiques, and you may stumble upon the weekend farmers markets. At the end of the Corso is Manly Beach which is a great place to people watch and surf. There is a very strong current, so I opted out of swimming and just laid on the beach taking in the views. On the way back to the city you have great views of the Opera House and Harbor Bridge so make sure to get a seat in the front of the boat.

Your trip looks fascinating and fabulous! You're looking great there in that swim suit!
